The web has plenty of registry tweaks you can apply to your windows xp machine. You can easily find it by Googling. The search results will show you some registry paths. But it is cumbersome to follow them by manually opening the regsitry. Instead you can install an add-on to firefox browser. You can find it at 'http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4478'. Click install button on the webpage. After installation restart firefox as it says. After that you can select the registry entry in any website and right click. A new context menu appears. select 'Open In Registry'. The registry editor automatically opens and displays the respective key.
